Sur le terrain

A 13-episode, 30-minute observational documentary series that delves into the daily lives of Indigenous health and social service workers from different nations. The series highlights their commitment, their realities, their challenges, and the deep motivations that drive them, while emphasizing the importance of cultural safety in the delivery of care and services.

In this third season of the series Sur le terrain, filming crews followed front-line workers in Kuujjuaq, as well as in La Tuque, Montréal, and Sept-Îles. The episodes filmed in the North provide a privileged look at the essential work of professionals from the Ungava Tulattavik Health Center (UTHC), who support patients and service users through an approach that is deeply human, respectful, and firmly rooted in Inuit cultural realities.

Recognition of the work of Ungava’s front-line workers

The participation of our staff in the series Sur le terrain represents an important recognition of their commitment, expertise, and essential role within the communities of Ungava. UTHC wishes to warmly acknowledge and thank these employees for their dedication and their daily contribution to the well-being of individuals and families.

We extend our thanks to the staff, patients, users, and visitors who agreed to welcome a television production crew in order to showcase the health care and social services offered in Ungava.

We invite you to watch Sur le terrain as of January 2026 to discover this meaningful and inspiring series!
