Following the elections held on October 22, 2025, the Ungava Tulattavik Health Center (UTHC) is pleased to introduce the new community representatives as well as the employee representatives who will sit on the UTHC Board of Directors for a three-year term.
The representatives will help Tulattavik ensure that patients, users and clients are well cared for. They will be able to bring the concerns of the population of Ungava communities to the Board of Directors, make recommendations and thus ensure that health and social services meet the needs and expectations of the communities. The participation of representatives on the UTHC Board of Directors will benefit the well-being of everyone, from newborns to seniors.

The representatives of the communities of QUAQTAQ and TASIUJAQ, as well as the fourth person to represent the employees of Tulattavik, will be appointed by UTHC and the Nunavik Regional Board of Health and Social Services in the coming weeks.
Positions up for election
Two categories of positions were up for election on October 22, namely that of representative of the community of Kuujjuaq and that of representative of the employees of Tulattavik to sit on the UTHC Board of Directors for 2025-2028.
Two people coveted the title of representative of the community of Kuujjuaq, CLAUDE GADBOIS and SHIRLEY WHITE-DUPUIS.
SHIRLEY WHITE-DUPUIS was elected as the representative of the community of Kuujjuaq.
As for the representative of the Tulattakik employees, three people working as administrative technicians were candidates in this election: EMALY JONAS, JOYCE MORIN and NICOLE TUKKIAPIK.
EMALY JONAS was elected as the employee representative of UTHC.
UTHC thanks all those who exercised their right to vote to select the Kuujjuaq representative and the employee representative on the Board of Directors.
