Tulattavik Community Services recently organized a restaurant outing for a group of elders. An outing, a shared meal, a conversation, or simply the joy of being together can truly enrich life and make a difference in everyday life. These precious moments in life matter a great deal. They promote social participation, community inclusion, the maintenance of independence, and well-being.

A big thank you to the entire team at the Kuujjuaq Inn for their warm and attentive hospitality during this dinner. Your kindness went a long way toward making this outing enjoyable for everyone.
For the participants, this kind of outing is much more than just a meal at a restaurant. It’s an opportunity to get out, reconnect, chat, and share a good time in a natural and meaningful setting.
A positive experience from a previous outing had inspired us to repeat this activity. This latest outing once again created wonderful moments and meaningful connections.
The activity was organized by Marie-Eve Lacroix, recreation therapist, and Sheila Narrainen, educator, both from Community Services. Together, they work to create opportunities for people to meet, socialize, and participate in community life.
Thank you to everyone who helped make this outing such a wonderful experience!
